Acerola

Malpighia glabra L.

One of the very richest sources of vitamin C, the bright red acerola fruit (barbados cherry) is native to Central American and Brazil and packs about 1680 mg Vitamin C per 100 g of fruit – up to fifty times more than oranges. It also contains vitamins A and B2, magnesium and potassium.
