The pineapple is the fleshy fruit of a bromeliad plant that is originally native to America and is now cultivated as a fruit plant in tropical regions around the world.

The pineapple is probably one of the best-known tropical fruits of all. Its wonderfully fragrant, sweet flesh provides the body with vitamins C, B1, B2 and B6 as well as potassium in a natural way.

Pineapple puree is very versatile and can be used for smoothies, bowls or ice cream. Pineapple can be combined very well with other tropical fruits, such as coconut. However, it is also worth trying out more unusual combinations, such as with fresh mint.

We source our pineapple puree from Ecuador, Brazil and Vietnam, depending on the harvest season.
