Acerola


Acerola has up to 50 times more vitamin C than oranges and is therefore considered to be one of the richest fruits in vitamin C of all. It also contains vitamins A and B2 as well as magnesium and potassium.

The flavour of acerola is usually described as sour-sweet and can best be compared to the taste of sour apple varieties.

Acerola is often combined with sweeter fruits or fruit juices and can be used as a vitamin C booster for juices, smoothies or bowls or as a healthy ingredient in ice cream. We also recommend the refreshing combination with freshly squeezed orange juice.

We source our acerola fruit puree from Brazil.
